Neomi is the main teacher of Circo Leveza, she specializes in aerial and floor acrobatics, juggling and dance. Neomi always held a passion for movement, she used it as a tool in order to express herself. She always knew that she wanted to become a teacher and inspire others to connect and express themselves through movement.

 

Neomi started her journey in the circus world when she was nine years old at “Move to Circus Academy” in Israel, where she studied circus, contemporary dance and ballet. At twelve she became part of their Youth Company and performed on many stages around the world,  at fourteen she started teaching, and at sixteen she accomplished the Move to Circus Pedagogical Certificate and became one of their main teachers. At nineteen Neomi attended “Salto International Circus School” in Porto, specializing in static trapeze, then continued her studies at “Arc en Cirque” in France. In 2024 she established Circo Leveza in Penela, Portugal, where she teaches students of all ages, from youths to adults.

Safi grew up amidst the world of circus and dance, drawn to the quiet freedom it offered. For a time, that spark drifted into obscurity, until it returned at the European Juggling Convention. Juggling rekindled Safi’s love for movement and expression — not as an echo of the past, but as something newly alive.

Soon after, he discovered the traditional Kishidō style of jū-jutsu, where discipline and presence revealed themselves in fresh ways. Alongside the rhythm and flow of juggling, these practices taught Safi how to work with his body through art and expression.

Today, Safi is both a student and teacher at Circo Leveza, a devoted jū-jutsu practitioner, and a passionate chef. Over the years, the kitchen has become his new place of expression, a realm of freedom and creativity. Moving between these worlds, Safi keeps his gaze toward the culinary arts while remaining intent on sharing the joy of movement with others.

Yasmin, co-manager of Circo Leveza, brings creativity and care to everything she does, from advertising to the website. Above all, she is a devoted mother to Yoel, Neomi, and Safi, and was the one to introduce them to circus arts from a young age.

Her path has always blended creativity with a love for people and nature. She has worked with children through art education, she run an organic grocery store with a vegan catering service, and nurtured a passion for healthy, mindful living.

In the past decade, Yasmin has also developed her skills as a graphic designer, web developer and book editor. With her talent for juggling many roles at once, she and Neomi brought Circo Leveza to life — a project rooted in family, artistry, and community

Yoel is a professional circus artist based in Paris, specializing in aerial straps, hand balancing, acrobatics, juggling, and hand to hand.
He began his journey in Israel at a young age, training at Move to Circus Academy continued his studies at Salto International Circus School in Porto and then at the École Nationale des Arts du Cirque de Rosny-sous-Bois in Paris.
Currently, Yoel is performing in The Lion King – Rhythms of the Pride Lands at Disneyland Paris, as well as in a variety of projects across France.

Alongside his performing career, he is passionate about teaching, and especially enjoys working with children and young artists. Whenever he visits Portugal, he shares his knowledge and experience with the students of Circo Leveza.
